The 4 is still higher than stock. Thats why I went with an Airwave.

Posts: 227 | With the 4" your head will be above a full windshield. Not that bad but not as nice as the stock height. In addition, if you are less than 6' tall you may be trying to look around the top frame of a full windshield.

Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Attached are some random images from 2016 walleye tournaments we covered. The Navionics ride is Tommy Skarlis, Smooth Moves Seats. The Berkley ride is Korey Sprengel, Air Wave. Look at the seat backs. A lot depends on the boat model. At the Mercury Marine National Walleye Tournament on Winnebago last year, 70% of the boats I shot had Smooth Move Seats installed. Literally. I wouldn't want to have to half stand to see above the windshield in rough water or rain. Can't see well enough through a wet windshield to drive even 1/3 throttle. Make sure you do the measurements from your current seat to determine what height is best for you and match it up. Rangers sit lower than most. Also consider seat ride (bounce) to take into account steering wheel interference and other controls when underway. Enjoy your new seats!!
