Just rec. the new stick and OH MY GAWD!!! This rod is awesome! Light as a feather and a beatin' stick.I'll use it for the 1st time this weekend and will post a report next week.Very comparable to my TB Diamondbacks.Couldn't imagine this rod in a heavy action. What a rod for 170 bucks. Can ya' tell i'm excited?Shoulda brought a reel to work! Steve

Fig Rigs, man I picked up one at the Chicago Muskie Show. I bought a 7'-0" Med, Hvy. and I will quote you "Oh my God" This rod is great! Very light, but rigid enough! A really great rod. I hope the members of MI take advantage of the special that Fig Rigs is running in conjunction with the MI members. I truly have nothing but praise for these rods.

Fig Rig Rods - Just received my 6'10" heavy jerk bait rod last week. Same reaction. Oh my god, sweet rod very light, well built and sturdy. First trip of the year in two weeks, I can't wait to use my new purchase. Might have to go out in the back yard to pitch a few baits.

Great rod if you are thinking about purchasing a new one.

If the word really gets out on these rods, they will definitly be a player on the muskie scene. Never been so impressed with a production rod like this. Good fishin' all. Steve

This is my third season fishing with Fig's and I have no reason to even think of considering anything else. They are quickly becoming "the" rod to have. If you've never used one you'll never understand, only thing close is Thornes customs...

I have their 7'6" Medium spinning for jigs that were made for smokeys. Sweet rod.
