| I could throw a black bulldog the rest of my life. Of course I'd need a shallow and normal one. | |||

Posts: 14 Location: Oak Park, IL | Again, for all-season versatility I'd probably go with a 9" Grandma, holographic perch, although the bull dawg option is certainly tempting.... Edited by muskiewhisperer 6/12/2004 9:05 PM

Posts: 105 Location: Kawartha Lakes, Ontario | I think Bob Izumi answered this question best when he said "Asking a fisherman if he could only use one lure, what would it be is like asking a golfer if he could only use one club for an entire round of golf what would he use?." Lures are tools that have an appropriate time and place, just like golf clubs. You wouldn't use a putter off the tee, would you? However, if I had to use just one lure it would be a 10" straight Believer. You can cast or troll it deep or shallow, or even crawl it across the surface. A very versatile lure that can be used in many situations.

Posts: 829 Location: Maple Grove, MN | A copper, willow bladed, with brown hair CJs spinner bait. I couldn't throw it the rest of my life though as the one I got last year is already in rough shape. Actually, many of my CJs spinner baits are beat up real bad.....

Posts: 402 | Either some kind of glider, that i could mess with the screw in weights for depth, or a crankbait like a jake that i could twitch shallow or fish deeper with it just by crankin it in.
