Location: Illinois | Don't know about the plug in the prop wash, but it will handle big jakes and head locks no prob. I have one paired with a 8' heavy TDR rod and I am not afraid pull anything I got. |

longevity would be an issue if you plan to troll a lot of hours per year. |

| In my experiences the Magda's are garbage, but the Convectors have held up nice. I don't musky troll much, but I do some salmon/pike/walleye trolling and the Magda's couldn't even hold up to that. The Convectors I use for when I do musky troll and have worked with every bait I've tried, including DCG's and big Grandmas and Jakes. But then again I am trolling for musky maybe 10-20 hrs a year max so my experience might not be very helpful. |

Location: Oregon, WI | I got a good deal on the some convector 20's and have given them considerable time this year, boating over 40 musky, too many pike, a monster carp and a boat anchor. The only problem I've had is the reset button on the linecounter sticks in the down position sometimes and the counter doesn't start counting when letting out line. Maybe some slime got in there? Not that big of a deal, just pull up on the button. |
