I have a 2012 200 Optimax. Not sure if my concern is normal or not. When the motor is trimmed up to power load or for shallow water, if you goose it the motor will not hold its position. Under the load it pushes back down. I have checked the fluid level and its full. When running at high speeds it holds its position. Just wondering if its normal or not. Thanks, Bones.

I believe that's normal once you adjust it to the point where it is using the high speed tilt Vs the low speed trim.

It's a safety feature that when the engine gets to a certain RPM the motor will tilt down to get into the "trim zone".
