| I am traveling up to the Grand Rapids area next week to do some muskie and pike fishing. This will be my first time there in about 5 years, and I am planning to fish North Star Lake, Spider Lake, Moose Lake, Deer Lake and Trout Lake during my trip. How has the fishing action been in the area, and are there any lakes that I missed and should be fishing instead?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

Location: Cohasset, MN | Spent 6/19 on Moose and only saw 1 smaller fish. Spent a few hours on North Star on 6/21. Saw a few fish but mostly lazy followers. One of them probably would have eaten but I screwed up my 8. |

| Thanks for the heads up. I am headed up there in a few hours, and hopefully they get a little more active. How is the midday boat traffic on the those lakes? |

| Fish Moose or Deer on cloudy days or night for your best chances. Or throw dogs into the deep on bright days. |

| Just got back from the trip. Caught some nice pike over the trip and a 38" muskie. North Star provided most of the action, but saw some fish on moose and caught pike on Spider. |
