Anyone have any experience with good sunglasses for a 6 year old on the water with me? Protection is key but also I want my kids to see what I see in the water. I've bought a few cheap pairs that claim polarized but when I try them out I can't see a thing in the water. Any companies making good sunglasses that kids can wear and see straight through the water??

They are either polarized or not polarized. There is no degree. Put them on look at the water. Then tilt your head to the side 90 degrees. If they are polarized you will notice the difference right away.

Polarization is when you block out either horizontal or vertical light waves. So if you have two pairs of polarized glasses and look through them putting one vertical and one horizontal they will block out all light waves - meaning you can't see through them. If you can't at least one maybe both are not.
