Yes, by all means follow the herd! That's really an excellent strategy for meeting up with the "herd". Sorry your spell check isn't working.
Don't follow the herd, the really good muskie fisherman rarely follow the herd and its darn hard to pry lake information from them. Much like asking someone where their hot morel mushroom spots are..... good luck with that one too.
Find a lake you like to fish that fit's your personal criteria for muskie fishing, then learn it indepth. Seasonal movements can be predictable, but weather isn't, you need to know that lake's shoreline & bottom structure like you know your back yard or your hunting area.
