These are supposed to float right? Just bought one on Saturday. First time fishing it on Sunday, hooked it on my leader, tossed it in the water next to the boat. it floated for 5-10 seconds, then started sinking. I'm thinking it's sealed improperly and filling with water. I just want to make sure before I send it back.

I have two that run great and float like they should (about a year old), and one that does what you describe that I bought 3 weeks ago. When you pull it out of the water, you can see water running out of two small holes in the back. I emailed the company and haven't received a response yet, gotta send another.

Got an email back from JBO, they said to mail it to them and they'll take care of it. All is well with the world again.
