| Does anyone know how to remove the old foregrip and base grip cork rod handles and replace them with new ones? I have a broken rod with a nice cork grip and Fuji reel seat I would like to transplant on a current working rod if it is possible. I could not find anything specific just googling the topic.
Specifically, how to remove the current handle and the steps to put on the new one.

Location: Smith Creek | Not possible. Once cork and reel seat are on a blank you can't remove without ruining them. On your working rod you can strip it and start from scratch. |

Location: South-Central PA | You can replace the handle without rebuilding from the tip, but you need to know what you're doing. It's not difficult to do.
Another option is to simple cover the cork with an x-flock shrink tube material.
