| The standard Garcia 5500C is great for twitching. Your really dont need to bring in lots of line when twitching. The slower the better! |

I'll go along with Jason on the 5500. My friend is a long time Granny twitcher and he loves the 6500 Big Game(the 5:1 I think) I got the high speed 6.3:1 6500HCL Big Game,(way too fast). The standard Calcutta isn't a good choice, as they lack an anti-reverse pawl and rely solely on the Super-Stopper anti-reverse bearing. I have used them for that purpose, but slack-line hits will wear that bearing quickly and eventually wear out the side plate as well. I have replaced both...................RAZE |
