| About 13 years ago my dad and I took off for a 3 or 4 day trip to Watersmeet MI. We basically knew nothing of the area and were going because it sounded fun. I remember not knowing a thing about the area but catching a ton of pike at a small lake called Dead Mans Lake. I can't find this lake at all. I remember it not being too far away from the Casino in town. Now that I've began Muskie fishing I'm throwing around the idea of returning to that area with the family. Are there any Muskie lakes in that area or would it be a much better idea to drive 25 miles and hit Eagle River WI? We were shocked to see how close we were to Eagle River. |

| It was a good musky year on Lac Vieux Desert this year.
Or head into Land-O-Lakes, head west and find Palmer. Great action lake.
You have hundreds of good lakes in your area. Finding water to fish shouldn't be tough at all. |

| How about the Cisco Chain. Not a big numbers chain but some nice size. Try hooking up with Bruce Becker if you are looking for a guide. Beautiful body of water. We stayed at Jay's Resort. It semmed to be about the cheapest on the lake. If I went back I would probably stay on the Wisconsin side at Bent's Camp. Great food and atmosphere. |

| Cisco is gorgeous water. Almost Canada like. Stained water too. Rocks/wood/weeds. And big muskies. Plus Palmer and Wildcat are just down the road if you want action lakes.
Rob Manthei also guides up there and man, he is excellent.
Love Bentz camp. Awesome pizza and great bar/restaurant. It is a must to stop in there when I'm north.
