Any one out there still using and catching on the Magna Strike M9 Grandma's. Still a good bait in my eyes sadly discontinued back in 97. I stocked up when i could, got 20 should see me out !! Lets hear your thoughts.

Loved the M-9. Yes, very sad they discontinued the grandma. Owned about 30 at one time. They all ran true, and could do some serious speed with them.  Now, because they are old, the lips are brittle, they are cracking when bounced of rocks. Only draw back to this bait was the small hook hangers. They tend to bend while fighting big fish, then subject to leaking, otherwise awesome crankbait.

Never cared much for the new ones with the bent lip. Not half the roll the M-9's had.  Won't buy one. There are better mouse traps out there like the 10" slammers and Jakes....IMO !

Mine too. I've slayed the skis with those the past 2 falls. Grandmas out produce Jakes in my boat 20 to 1.
