| A few years back, i bought a muskie lure called a VIP-R-TAIL at a local fishing and hunting show. At the time, the seller told me it was a very collectable lure. It is made by Greg Bohn's Stinger Tackle Co in Wisconsin and is model #1000. I have never used it and recently went to look up info on it but cant seem to find anything but an ad on ebay where the lure was already sold. Can anyone tell me if this is a really good collectable lure or should i just take it out and toss it in the water near shore and see what happens?
Cannot get photos to load of it made them smaller but still no go but it looks like a black rat with an extra long flat tail with almost like fins on the tail and is made of soft black rubber |

Location: Oconto Falls, WI | Doubt it is really all that collectable being it is rubber. I would toss it as those baits work. Not sure if it came before the Big Joe. I know I knew of the lure before I knew of the Big Joe. Regardless it is one of the original big rubber baits for musky fishing. |

| Not the Big Joe but a similar size but only one long tail and its much larger than the small tails on the Big Joe - perhaps they changed the design when they changed the name. Made the pics as small as i can in photo gallery and it still says they are too large - do i have to changed them from jpgs? |

| Well still being curious, i contacted the Greg Bohn site and got some info on my lure. They sent me this or she did;
Hi John,
The Vip-R Tail has not been manufactured for many yrs. They are hard to come
by and anglers still contact us for them.
I would save it, as they have become very collectable.
Hope this helps!
