| Caught my first musky from a kayak this week. My son located a few muskies in a hole of water that was pretty much only accessable with a kayak. For the most part, fishing from the kayak was pretty aggravating. Hard to manage the net, paddle, fishing pole, baits, and my sore back and shoulder. But, when the fish hit my glide bait, it took away all of the aggravation and turned into a really good fight with a musky. He came out of the water three times and almost turned me over a few times after I got him in the net. After reading on this forum, that it is so easy to lose a musky on a manta lure, I was really afraid that he would come off, but he stayed on long enough for me to get a picture and then send him on his way. Now, I'm wanting another one from a kayak really bad...
