| I took the musky gear out right at dusk wednesday, I was trolling a jointed, squirrely tail believer when my drag started letting off... My fishing buddy started going nuts but I could tell there was something wrong. The fish never came to the surface or made a run. It was like reeling in a branch. I ended up boating a 27 inch walleye (first walleye). It was actually nice catching something decent but a little disappointing nonetheless. Hopefully I can finally find and catch one of these gremlins already.

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | keep at it man, Took me almost a year to catch my first one... well second technically (my first was caught crappie fishing with a buddy on light tackle, never looked back since) it just takes time in getting to know and understanding the water you fish. Once you figure out the lake and forage the catches will come more and more. |
