Hi all, I’ve been having some fun in the mancave lately.  The first few photos are baits for some guys who like the baits but wanted something different from the standard colors.  I’m not as talented as my production painter, but hopefully they’ll still catch fish.  The last photo is of the baits I made for the bait build contest and the one I entered was the bottom MDR Chopper.

Mike,
I like new colors. What is the pattern name of the last MDR Chopper ?

Hmmm, good question, it’s similar to the production “walleye” pattern, but the stencil is a little different and I used an iridescent green like a musky sometimes has.  It has a white spot on the tail, but that’s more for helping the angler see the bait in the water.   Guess I’d call it “green walleye” or “esox”  Not a production pattern, but I could add it.

PS.  I was hoping to name the pattern "contest winner" but that didn't pan out lol
