| Hey fellow hunters. I have been fishing lotw the last four summers. Due to un forseen circumstances, I will be staying around home this summer which is Niagara Falls Ontario. I am un familiar with this area for musky fishing. I am wondering if you guys have any tips, for ythis area, ie. Any colours that work, or even any areas that are good to fish. Thanks guys. |

| Over the past several seasons, Swim shads and Red October monster tubes have been the most productive baits on the Niagara. A shift in forage to the round goby, and the rivers swift current, that encourages fish to stay near the bottom have helped this trend.
Here"s a link to a video I put together several years ago to support a habitat improvement project. It was filmed in the Niagara, and you can see how these fish live.

| Ravigne,
I'd strongly recommend that you look into joining Muskies Canada: http://www.muskiescanada.ca/. There's a chapter in Hamilton with guys that fish Erie and the Niagara. I know those guys would LOVE to hear about your experiences on LOTW as many guys in southeastern Ontario haven't had the opportunity to fish up that way. |
