| I've got a 1995 merc.9.9 2 stroke. water seems to cycle well and then slows down is it spoused to flow as a constant steady stream, or does a thermostat slow it down? Can I just replace the impeller or do I have to buy the whole kit? |

you should just be able to buy the impeller itself for replacement, although if you have not changed it before, it probably would not hurt to get the whole kit. For that motor, I don't believe it would be over $50 for the kit, whereas the impeller itself might run up around $20 - $25. The motor is 16 years old...might be a safer bet just in case you find a gasket that is not as good as it used to be, or the housing showing wear..
