| Is current takin break from fishing. never had really sucker fishing before so I want to try them so bought an4 days Wisconsin license and went to river.. 3 mins after I got to the spot i want so set up the rigs and add chanteuses yarns on line for visual aid. Then all of sudden yarn was moving. "umm must be lively sucker" it's kept going and going and going till the light bulb in my head flickering and it hit my head.. MUSKIE!! I reel in slack and felt the weight so o gave the set all I can. FISH ON!!! gave me good series of headshakes till I scoop her up. I screamed Yeahhh!!!!!!! Poor my pup think I had gone psycho... The fish had made My new pb 45.5"!!! My first sucker fish!! Approximate 2 hours later was drift down the breakline throwing suick and BAM FISH ON!!! took me 3 tries to net 34" due to me not used to 9' rod . My first multiple fish day ever!!!!!! To make it worse my #*^@ camera dies on me when I tries to took self pics so had to use my phone. Not so good pics but it will just do!!!
Ok I am done. Time to go back to fishing!! |

Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | Steve, headed to Okauchee to pre-fish for the Ironman next weekend. The lake is alway's tough and we'll need all the help we can get. There's a pattern out there and time on the water should help figure it out.
