Location: Chicago,IL | Any reports on how the fishing is on Lake Vermillion??? Will be staying at Spring Bay Resort, sounds like a top notch resort. Leaving this Saturday and hoping the weather will be better than it was in early June. Then we only had one day without rain. Hoping to get slimed a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tight Lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Location: Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan | We have been here since Saturday 9/18, staying at Spring Bay also....Have seen 7 or 8 real lathargic fish, no takers except for two small pike. Super cold front conditions with not much moving and can't seem to find a pattern. Used Dawgs, Mantas, bobbie baits, and all the cold front baits plus a variety of double blade baits and cranks. Tried all the community spots both rocks and weeds plus many of my own. Fished late, until midnight two night with nothing...nobody has put any in the boat that I have talked to. Steve fished two nights and saw nothing....tough, tough bite.

| The east end is no better. Tons of forage out there. Seeing baitballs, probably ciscoes, all over the place. Long range forecast is for colder than normal so water temps will continue to drop. If we get some stable water temps it would help. |
