How hard is it and the cost to add the Esox back deck to a Osprey model?
Is that the only difference between the two models?

Thanks

yes, the rear deck extension is the sole difference between Osprey and Esox trim lines on the v-hull boats.

it's very easy to install and remove the Esox deck insert...there are 4 bolts that hold it in place. there are recessed ports for the bolts in the side of the cockpit with covers for when it's removed. takes about 5 minutes to pull the bolts and lift the extension out, or vice versa.

i think retail is around $800 for the extension, check with a dealer for a more precise price quote.

The "Just Encase" guy will build you a custom tackle box that doubles as a Esox insert as well. Pretty close to the same $ as one from Tuffy too. I myself, am building my own insert, much more affordable.

Thinking about attemting it myself Muskymike. Any pointers for that model? If Tuffy and Just Encase are that expensive then I'll pass.
