Im wondering if anybody out there has found a good 2 pc cowgirl/pounder rod in the 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 ft range,,,,Yes I know about the telescopic rods but would also like to know about any 2 pc'rs???????

Best advice I have is to look at offshore surf casting rods. They are generally two piece and they come in some pretty decent muskie actions if you look around

Bass Pro (Pete Mania) makes a two piece rod that will handle those baits and may still be on sale.

Bass Pro (Pete Mania) makes a two piece rod that will handle those baits and may still be on sale.


A friend of my son has one and it just double doubles over with a Pounder on it. Defiantly not the rod you want for tossing baits like that. Mags maybe......Pounders, no way
