I have an abu garcia ambassaduer 6500c3 and 6500c4, both have problems. When I reel them in and cast them out its loud. It is not as smooth. I have greased and oiled them well and it does nothing. They sound like they are dying.

I would send one in at a time for repair, sounds like your gearing may have a problem.[:bigsmile:]

There is another thread that mentions a Bass Pro repair facility, sounds pretty good.
