I heard a rumor that the lake assn had the weeds sprayed on lake 3, anybody know if this is true?  If so, are there any weeds left?

I’m not sure about the weed spraying (they spray the milfoil in front of our family place just down the road on Clear to questionable effect) but those expletive big green weed eaters have completely and possibly permanently destroyed many of the best shallow tobacco cabbage beds on the lake. Not sure if the weed eaters are in use anymore as I heard a rumor that they were no longer going to use them and I haven’t seen them yet.

Those weed eater machines are a waste of time anyway. The pleasure boaters do a good job of tearing up the weeds.
Hey Chris, were you out on Rush last weekend? If so, how did you do?

Yep, Big Jon and I hit it until about noon. It was a little slow but Big Jon got a 40-inch class fish to eat a Castaic Swimmin Cisco on the 8 but it somehow didn’t get hooks. I moved what looked to be a pretty nice one on a Double Deep Throat just after moonset but it wouldn’t commit.

Two and three were sprayed, but missed a few spots on both. One is untouched but pondweed is starting to die off anyway.
