Hey all,
I fish on a weedy lake where the weeds come to the top of the water and on this lake there are both rec. boaters and fisherman everywhere. With that said what do you people like to do or use in a situation like this with pressure and lots of weeds.

Thanks in advance
Paul

If the weeds are down enough to run a topwater, a walk the dog bait (I like Weagles) seems to be able to make fish hit at times nothing else can. If the weeds are relatively sparse, a spinnerbait like a Rad Dog gets through weeds well, and might be able to get down deeper and come back clean, giving the fish something they don't see a lot if not many people are using stuff like that.

Well, yes. I think the fish will do both, so you just have to check everything that might hold fish in the lake out. But, I've caught quite a few muskies from a shallow, 4 foot weed bar that had lots of musky pressure, and LOTS of boats flying across it all day in the summer. There were still plenty of fish holding in the weeds and along the edge.
