Location: SW MI | Do any of you guys put larger hooks on these? What effect would it have on the action of the lure? What size hooks would you use? |

| It might make the bait sink. If you're going to upsize the hooks I'd leave the middle hook off. I leave the stock hooks on. |

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | I don't think I would change out any hook sizes on those. They are so small, that their action is hindered with the smallest change. I tried to swap out the back hook for a small willow blade, and the action was KILLED on it. |

Location: SW MI | Thanks. I wasn't quite sure if the hooks were sufficient for muskies but now I know. |

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | I usually stick with 1/0 hooks on the 6" baits. I have gone to a 3/0 on the tail and removed the middle hook as well to try and get the lure to be more level in the water doing a twitch-pause technique. I have tried going to a larger front hook, but the longer shank always made the hook get caught on the top of the body.... A short shank 2/0 or 3/0 might do it though...
