Don't know what to get. I think about 7" maybe 7' 6". for Hellhounds,Nitros suicks,and WTD's. Those 10" Weagles weigh a ton. Don't want top of the line,about $200 or so.

I seem to make the Weagles work better with a longer stiffer rod! esspecially the 10" but, I mostly fish rivers with current. Much easier though with long,XH rods it seems!

i like the 7'to 7'6" for hellhounds i use a 7'6 " made by jawbraker

I really like my 7'6" St Croix premier medium heavy rods for all WTD baits.

Check out The Jerk by St Croix. Works for any pull baits, gliders and walk the dog top waters. Very nice rod.
