This thread pretty much speaks for itself, I might be getting dragged to Madison tomorrow (not in a bad way, I love the city) and I was wondering if there is a place to rent a boat with our without a motor on Monona OR Wingra. thanks guys

I think the wingra place rents small boats. Right at the nickerbocker launch.

Wingra or Waubesa are your only choices for boat rentals. There is a place near the Beach House that rents small boats in McFarland.

On Waubesa, they rent boats with 8 horse motors. I have never rented there, but will be a first time customer in a couple of weeks:

Barrs Resort
6002 Lake Edge Rd
Mc Farland, WI 53558
