Location: Stevens Point, WI | Spent quite a bit of time in these, very solid boats from what I have seen and heard. I would have to say many of there boat models are built around or for big water use seeing that Yar-Craft started on the shores of Lake Michigan in Menominee.
As for guys muskie fishing out of them, that I really haven't seen or heard too much about. But very good boat overall.

Location: Hastings, mn, 55033 | A friend of mines dad bought a new 18 footer last year, and he has owned yar crafts for over 20 years. VERY solid boat. Good ride in rough water. His last one(not sure of model) would have made a nice musky boat, set up kind of like a tuffy with the ability to walk around perimeter of boat on raised platform.
His new one is the all molded version. no carpet or vinyl. VERY nice for cleaning, just hose it out and let it drain.

| I have a Yar-Craft Mille Lacs BT with tiller owned it for last 9 years. No problems. Plenty of room, I store 8' rods in locker. Bait well design could be improved but then I store bucktails instead of minnows in it. Mine has gas intake in the bow and always has been stored in garage. I will not part with it. When I have questions I get answers from company now in Wausau and before when it was in the UP. |

I just purchased the 2095 bt boat tiller model and I muskie fish, I was a litle concerned at first. the boat has a huge forward casting platform and I was able to do figure 8'ts with no problems, also you can stand in the back or on top the rod lockers and cast it is a very stable boat and fairly low to the water line. also if you like to troll it does a great job, mine is powered with 150 4 stroke Yamaha and I had it up to 53mph for a 20 foot boat that fairly fast. I also backtrolled in 30mph wind and no water got inside the boat. the boat is designed for walleye fishing, but is equally great for muskie fihing. I love it, great boat I owened 5 boats prior to this one and by fur this one is the best for me
