Does the new Formula X material used in Life Like Lures and Shack Attack Lures hold up to angry esox? These pictures seem to indicate they do and below is part of an email I just recieved from Andy Bellini of Shack Attack:

Here are the pictures of the Swedish pike caught by pike lure builder Kjelle Lundberg. 9+kg, 10+kg and 11+kg. all the fish were caught on the 6” Curly Sue in Brown Sucker pattern. He caught 18 fish on one bait and it’s still going strong

Heck his old lures held up well. I caught a dozen fish on one sub zero alone and lost 4. I just need to superglue up the belly a little because the hooks don't stay in and I can still fish with it.

The Formula X stuff is pretty cool. I'm not sure how many fish it'll take, but the stuff is way tougher than plastisol.

Those are some beautiful pike!!

I was wondering if you can heat that formula X material the same way as the Bull dawg material instead of using superglue?
