I'm fairly new to muskie fishing. I love to use gliders. What is the best length and stiffness for a rod to use gliders. I use a 6 6 for big jerks is that good. I also have a 7 7 m h rod it seems to light is there any advantage to using a lighter rod.

Leave the mh rods for the bucks/surface baits. To get a good hookset with those large heavy baits, you need a heavy action rod. Also for working those baits. As far as length goes , I prefer my 6'09", others use a longer stick. Kdawg

I think it depends on how you like to work the lure. I like a MH because the elasticity really whips the bait around at the end of the tug. I use mantas mostly. I also like the lighter rod for side to side topwaters. Try both.

I agree with kdawg, 6'9" heavy is the way to go for gliders. I personally like the St Croix Avid in this action.

Some other factors to consider are how tall you are and how high your boat sits off the water. You don't want your rod slapping the water with every jerk. I'm short (5'5") and prefer a 6'10" rod. My bow also sits fairly low in the water too so I need the shorter rod.
