| It seems alot of guys on the board build their own baits , but I've never read about anyone pouring their own soft plastic baits. Can this be done? Does a catalog sell the supplies? Would it be cost effective? Or is winter affecting my brain here?

| Try Lurecraft, they have all the plastic stuff you need.
www.lurecraft.com Molds plastisol etc. You can also remelt used plastic lures.

| I pour my own soft plastic baits.I had an aluminum mold made and then a another jig mold made for the internal weight.Bought the plastic in five galon containers and cooked the plastic in a microwave.Colors,sparkle, etc are easisly available. |

| Steve Worrel [sworell] gave an excelent talk on plastics at our MI meeting last nite,,showed us how to weld/melt parts from different plastic baits to create new lures..I guess he used to own the creature company I bet he has some tips |
