Location: Minnesota | Home Depot you can get industrial epoxy blend. $20 for 32oz. Many hobby stores in Chicago you can get some nice paints. Also some auto supply stores will have a large selection. Sorry, I am in Minneapolis so I don't have specifics. If you know what hotel you are staying at, try Yahoo maps and type in the address and then search for different stores around that address.
Hope this helps.

Location: Freedom, WI | Do not know about the paint in Chicago but the etex is available at most hobby stores, or Menards or some hardware stores. Woodcraft stores carrys a product called system 3 that beats etex. Boat stores that have stuff for bigger boats (West Marine is one of them) has epoxys like that also. The hobby stores would carry waterbased paints also. I get mine online at www.dixieart.com , takes about a week to get it shipped though. I am not from Chicago but that is where I would start. |

Location: midwest | "Michaels" craft store, "Hobby lobby", and "Dick Blick" art supply stores carry air brush paints, mostly createx products. These same stores along with ''Ace Hardware'', ''Home Depot'', and ''Menards'' will have epoxies such as envirotex and possibly crystal sheen. |
