Me, all year round. As the water cools, slower moving topwaters work better

Moved the majority of fish last weekend on topwater. Only thing I could get them up on was a slow moved walk the dog style topwater. Cool water to. (50-53)

I've tossed topwater baits on top of ice and dragged them off of the ice edges...so I'll go as late as there is an open season to fish. No matter the time of year, time of day, moonphase, etc. I always try to throw topwater at some point when I am out

i had a fish blow up on a Weagle this morning: water temps 51*, sunny, light breeze.
it came up hard and launched completely out of the water...unfortunately it was about 4" away from the lure!
