Location: searchin for 50 | Was wondering with your time on the water how many 50" fish you have seen or have had on ? This is for Wisconsin waters only. I know prime time is coming. Myself Ihaven't seen or hooked any as of yet. The lakes that i Usually fish are Minocqua Chain, Big St. Germain and some smaller lakes in Vilas and Oneida cty. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | There's plenty of opportunity in the lakes you mentioned to pop a 50 or larger. I'm working two in that range now on a couple small lakes here in Rhinelander. Over the years, I have about a dozen I can remember in the boat off Pelican, Enterprise, and select small lakes in northern Wisconsin. |

| I was fishing Vilas last week and my pal had two 4 footers boat side (smaller lakes). They are there.....Last weeks cold front produced action every day for me and all the action was suckers and jigs. It's go time again!!
Good luck |

| Yep a good read for sure.
Never fished Birch but I have a place on Van Vliet which has seen a ton of pressure this year with a couple of harvested big girls=(......There are so many quality lakes I fish ten lakes consistently 2 hours each and if nothing is moving I get off. The smaller lakes seemed to be the ticket last time. My Pal Forbes is a guide up there and he went ten for ten in last couple of weeks. But if you want four footers and have the option of MN CA I would go there obviously.
