Location: Wheeling, IL. | Going to Sab. Bay Camp on the 8th. Anybody been in that area recently? I hear the lake is about 2.5' high. Is there any particular bait they are hitting on this year?
Thanks

Location: Medford, WI | RLD, just got back on Sunday night from Nestor Falls. Fished LOTW Wed. night and all Thursday, Friday morning, and then fished Crow for a day and a half.
Wed. night fish were active, but not too hungry, 3 follows, one low to mid-40 (Bucktail)
Thursday: GREAT!!! 15 follows, 12 which were different muskies for sure. 3 or 4 40+"ers all on a variety of baits.
Thursday night storm hit and water raised about a foot, Friday morning one big northern and no sign of muskies.
Almost all of the fish were slow on the follow, just looking at the bait, not really chasing it. None went after the figure-8, if anything it took their interest away. All of our fish were on maraboutails and a 6" Jake, few on a manta.
6" Jake was definitely the hot bait.
I live in Central WI and we usually get very similar weather to them: past 3 days have been blazing hot (mid to upper 90's), I would guess the fish will have made their transition to the rocks, or at least the majority of them. No certain colors.
Hope this helps a little. Good Luck and make sure to release the big one for me to catch next year!!! -Jake |

Location: Chippewa Falls, WI | Just got back from LOTW, Was up there from Thurs to Sun, After that storm went thru on thurs night, fri was tough, but we boated 6 fish, 44" biggest,
had a few 50" to boat but very lazy, after post frontal conditions, Yup, we caught fish in back slop bays, and also on main lake structure, Rock,
If you not on the water your not going to catch em.
