Pro's....

What type of lighting do you use at night in your rig? Do you use the standard headlamp and a small white light in the boat? I am always looking for a better and safer way to night fish.

MMedic,

I have "Flex-a-lite" type stuff that is 12V and I put it under the rail of my Crestliner. It lights up the floor only when I need extra light and does not affect the water at all...Send me an email at [email protected] for more info.....I also use a headlamp.

I have some super light weight headlamps that I picked up from Bass Pro Shops. Really work nice. I also keep a 1 million candlewatt handheld spotlight (cordless). This comes in extremely handy when fishing on busy bodies of water at night. I have had to use it more than once to keep boats from running us over.

Another inexpensive light that works really well is the snake lights. I used them for quite some time before spending the money on a lighter weight headlamp. Snake lights are handy to have in the boat.

Mount some red lights under the dash for fishing lights, just enuf to see where your casting but not to much as to blind you.
