Posts: 880 Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | When you look back at what happened in 2004, what did you appreciate the most from the year? Was it the great catch, was it the friends you meet, or the family you got closer to? I have a few pictures I didn't post because of non-use of my camera, but everyone has to enjoy the moment and here they are. Posts: 20281 Location: oswego, il | Leave it to Cady, lmao! I am thankful for the fish I have caught and helped my kids and grandfather catch this year. I am also thankful to have fished with the people I was able to fish with this year, some of them new. It's past 12:30am, my kids are wide assed awake and I can't put any presents under the tree.

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Too much to list, but first and foremost is my family. Sue has been an absolute blessing for this old reprobait. Keith's wife Brandy brought us my grandson Cole in March; he lights my life. Keith and I spent more time together this year than many past and had an incredible deer season hunting together, Brian and Sarah graduated from the University of Minnesota. 2004 was a wonderful year, and all are here this morning for breakfast and gifts. I didn't fish as much as I would have liked, but that's OK. That's partly because Beav was down and out, and Slamr was really busy. We'll make up for that in 2005. Sue and I fished with friends and teammates Norm and Andy in the Rhinelander League, and got to rub elbows with some pretty fine folks like Mr. Jonesi, Mr. Roberts, Oneida Esox, Scott, Lee, Chuck, ( I'll be in soon for icefishing bait, sir!) and many more. That thing is alot of fun! Friends. So many now for a guy who used to spend ALL his time on the road and had no time, this has been another blessing. Beav, Zachman, Captian Jim, Slammer and Nikki (Nikki, it is SOOOOOOO cool you actually like that guy!! He likes you too, I think), Mark, Theedz, and so many good friends who have stopped over at the Hideout and just fished it, as Mr. Cady says, or dropped by for coffee now and again, and my best friend, Sue. And you. Yup, you; whoever you are reading this. I'm still amazed when I open up this website every day and read the conversations, questions, answers, stories, debates, and catfights. You have all made this a pretty nice place to visit. To ALL of the above, thanks. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and let's take Mr. Cady's advice for 2005.

Posts: 4266 | My family and friends, and the freedom that we have in this country to go out and chase stinky green fish if that's what we want to do. For my extended family that lives in and on this screen. Merry Christmas to you all, and God bless us everyone....even Slamr Beav

Posts: 127 Location: NW burbs of Chicago | I am very thankful for the new life I am leading now with the man that I love, Slamr. I am thankful for the friends and family who surround us and love us (and thanks, Steve, that was very sweet of you). But most of all, I'm thankful for the muskie I caught the first time he took me fishing, which impressed him enough to keep me around.
