I received my replica this morning. I took a risk getting it painted beer color like some of the fish we catch. Well the guy did a bang up job as you can see from the pictures. The replica was from a bit longer fish from a few year before that one but it shows off the beer color real well. This replica was done by Douglas taxidermy.

That is an awesome mount. He sure nailed the colors based on the pre-release photo.

Absolutely one of my favorite fish pics: you, the fish, and snowy backdrop. Fish looks a bit greener in the photo, but hey, its your mount and there are certainly worse colors than beer. uuummmm, beer, aahh! nice. m
