I've had one of their rail mounts for the last year for my drifter net. I like it a lot. But you do need to be cognizant of keeping the "puck" down when netting a fish otherwise you can't get it into the holder.

I fish by myself a lot. This looks like a great product. Quick question for those that have one. If you have a net and you mount the device to the handle, is your handle now locked in the extended position? I don’t have much room in the boat to leave it extended often. Or can you mount it to the base of the hoop? It looks like the musky net buddy net has solved that.
