Has anyone been able to get their hands on either the new Beast 300 or 400? I haven't seen them in person, so looking for thoughts / opinions from anyone that has had a chance to try one in hand, or use one. Thanks.

I've had really good luck with Abu products. There are some reviews on youtube of the new reels.

I have the 200 size for downsizing and the 400. Always been an abu fan and although they both have very limited use, I like the reels a lot and the 400 is very smooth and casts great.

How does the 400 compare in physical size to a Prorex 400, or a Tranx 400, or even the previous Revo Toro Beast 60? Thanks.

from the top view, the beast 400 spool width and size is similar to the old beast 60s and prorex...a touch bigger than the tranx 400s. the gear case is a lot bigger but the opposite side plate is nice and compact and palms nicely if that's how you prefer to grip.
