We've caught a lot of fall muskies on Jerkbaits but no really big ones, what about everyone else?

Some of my biggest fish have come on 7-1/2" Phantoms in November. Throwing rubber all day, then catching on a regular sized glider.

25 yrs. WI fishing...
A bulldawg is a jerkbait to me. Have caught some of my biggest fish on them in late fall. Gliders have not caught me big fish. My own Dive and Rise has done very well in late fall for me.

...a guarantee is you will only catch them on what you use.
I love Dawgs

I agree with Rudedog…and Pounders are definitely not “fun” to throw all day in October and November, however the success on big fish is undeniable, over the years I’ve caught roughly 3 dozen skies on pounders late fall (I’m a hunter so my time on the water in fall is often limited) .. the average size is a little over 45”

I talked to our guide on Monday Oct 6 and the weather was starting to break get cold (he was fishing in shorts before that.)
Fishing with the guide I bring one rod and 30-35 lures. We take my friends truck and it has a covered bed so I can fit my 7' 11" rod crossways (the bad news I can't take my 9' foot X heavy Thornes rod it's too long) so no pounders or 10" Hellhounds.
My friend used the guides lures and rods and he lives for Sucker fishing, I'll take my turn on the Sucker but the running joke it's hardly ever my turn on the sucker. When talking to the guide he discourages clients bringing too many lure or changing lures too much (good advice) I'll have to ask the guide if he has any pounders and rod that can handle them. I just turned 65 but I'm a gym rat so if my rod can handle it I can handle it. The rod I 'm taking is also a X heavy but think it would break if I throw the pounder.
