Does anyone have any wisdom/lessons learned fishing Crow Lake in early September? Not looking for the spot on spot, more general info besides being "careful for hazards". Lures/presentation, any strategy considerations. Thanks for any help, your time is appreciated!

Use the SEARCH button in the dark gray header towards the top of any page. Loads of information. I tried to edit the link above e but there's a stupid ad over the top of that panel.

I did that but didn’t see anything specifically for Fall / September. At least in my experience, LOTW for example, is strategically fished differently early to mid to late season. I would be willing to guess the baitfish the Muskies are targeting are different. I know the turbidity and thermocline is different. Maybe I searched it incorrectly, will try again.

I went there with a guide for a day. We fished Lake Trout for 1/2 day & muskie 1/2 day. The guide told us that Red is a good color there. Super clear water !! Any structure less than 10ft deep is like fishing in an aquarium. No muskies spotted or caught that day. But we had the best shore lunch of our lives, fresh Lake Trout !!
