Location: Pewaukee | I’m going to be staying on Lake Nokomis in late June. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a few spots, lures/colors etc to try? I also heard that the water level can vary? How’s the boat launch?
I’d be fishing for bass, walleye….action for the kids mainly. However, I’ll try to steal some time to try for a musky a few mornings or evenings. Feel free to PM me |

| Buddy has a cabin there, 1,600 acres, lot of shore line. Lake levels vary greatly. |

Location: Pewaukee | The DNR had it listed at 2274 acres. That’s a pretty good sized lake the one on Minn is small like 200. |

Location: Roscoe IL | So the bridge (route N) just to the left of the boat launch is a good spot on both sides. Go under the bridge into bridge lake and you will find good weed beds near deeper water. Easy to spot the spots when tooling around. Lots of bogs so be aware. Try the ice cream at the windmill.
Kiddies will love catching the bullheads on hook & worms off the docks. If it looks good then cast. It’s a flowage so not sure where it’s at on the water levels. Sold the cabin after 15 years on that lake. Lots of Walleye but typically dinks for me anyway..
Good luck be safe |
