Location: oswego, il | I ordered some tinsel skirts and when i got them they are all matted, stuck together and oily. Any suggestions on fixing them? i was thinking of soaking them in hot water and dawn dish soap. |

Happened to me once. ;( |

| While I think JD's suggestion of return is best, something you might try is if you can find a fine mesh bag, throw in the bag, bag in washing machine, gentle cycle warm, not hot water. Detergent is great at removing oil. |

Location: oswego, il | I heated them up in a pot with dawn dish soap and then rinsed them off. Some of the tinsel turned white around the tie but they are not oily now. Not sure if this place would take them back all of the skirts from them on clearance are this way.
