Location: Southern W.Va. | Heading to Cave Run in about 2 weeks or so and don't know if I'll be able to throw the bigger stuff, HOWEVER I will be throwing some jig. As this is early spring and I'm sure that the bite will be shallow , What weight jig would you suggest foe shallow water? I'm convinced that 1.5oz jigs would be on the heavy side and was wondering if 3/8oz jig will have enought hook to hold a good ski. Also , what colors do you suggest?

where can i find some jigs of this weight with a big enough and strong enough hook. i have been looking for awhile. all i can find is heavier jigs.

That will one more thing that I'll own you for. What about 8" lizards as a trailer. I've got a fair supply of them in different colors. Big enough???Enough bulk???
