Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota | Has anyone checked out the newest version of the Calcutta conquest? Looks like it’s a 7.5:1 and has some other updates. Comes in a 300 and 400 looks like. I’ve used the original conquest and it’s an incredible reel. Anyone looked into these or think you will pick one up? |

Location: central Wisconsin | Do you have a link to view it, Shimano has last years model on their site. I've got one of those, incredibly smooth, incredible price though too. |

Tackle warehouse has them on their website, looks like you can preorder and they will be available in April |

Jeff, I might be wrong, but don't you have a mechanical background? Could you shed some light on why they are so much more expensive or is it just that they are made in Japan, as opposed to China? I have heard that they are incredibly smooth, just wondering what makes them tick. |
