| Due to our planned family vacation at the Angle on Oak Island first week in August looking very doubtful, I am looking at a few lakes in Mn to go to. I was looking at Northstar on Navionics on my phone and it looks like 4-5 basins connected by shallow areas. Just wondering if these shallow areas are passable with a 620?
Any hints on good resorts would be appreciated. Is it a decent musky lake? How about walleyes? Thanks.

Location: MN | Don't know about walleyes but yes last time I was there a few years ago could access everything with my 690 Ranger. Lake has some beautiful deep cabbage that holds fish. There's a resort right on the east side of the lake north of the access. Don't recall the name though. Sure hope the border opens on the 21st though, son is flying home on the 24th and we are planning to head up the 25th. |

Location: Waite Park, MN | I rented a cottage at Northstar Lake resort about 3 years ago. I had never been on the lake. A week was maybe a bit long for the size of the lake, but I did boat several fish. The whole lake is accessible, I have a Warrior 208 XRS with a 300. The first couple days I motored. Slowly through the one small channel, but by midweek I just blew through it.
Lot of fun, will return, thoroughly enjoyed both the resort and the lake. |

| Beautifal lake and scenery. Not a numbers lake but there are some big fish in there! Busy recreation lake during the day. |
