| I'm looking to fish either Bone or Cedar lake in Polk/Saint Croix county sometime this week. Reading old forums it seems that spearing has really taken a toll on Bone. Is this still the case? I couldn't find much on Cedar lake at all. Any tips for these lakes this time of year? Or is there a different lake in the area worth trying? Thank you |

| Only fished cedar a couple times I live in Indiana but have fished Polk co lakes all my life bone and deer have taken hits in recent years w spearing but still fish to be had I’ve done well with black hair and perch colored cranks and jerk baits. I’ll be headed up there this week for a week or so hopefully the fish are hungry. Good luck |

Few lazy follows on deer for opener and couple hits on suckers. Skunked on bone just this past Friday, was very windy though. |

They were pretty small. 6 to 8", right in Saint Croix Falls at bait shop. |
